This year Music In Communities is offering two weeks of music-making fun for ages 10 - 17, at the Ross Creek Annex in Canning. This camp will focus on the music you love while also showing you some new cool stuff. Led by our summer jobs team, Freya Milliken, Tyler McDonald and assistants, kids in both weeks will have a chance to try drum kit, electric bass, electric guitar, keyboards, as well as ukuleles, acoustic guitars and songwriting. The first week will focus more on songwriting and developing material to perform, and the second week will be spent rocking out with the new songs. Kids can sign up for either week and are encouraged to come for both, so they can get really polished and performance-ready! On the Saturday after camp they will have the option to perform at the Canning Kitchen Party, in the gazebo at Bruce Spicer Park.
No experience needed, and instruments are provided, or bring your own.
