Due to the weather forecast we have decided to plan this event for a future date! Please check back for your chance to hear these great musicians.

Tragedy Ann is a forward-looking folk duo. Braiding organic vocal harmonies with organ, accordion, singing saw, and guitars, Tragedy Ann’s arrangements are as delicate as they are driving. Their concerts emanate “…the honesty and enthusiasm of people who can’t help but create and perform.” (Jon Farmer, Georgian Bay Roots).

With their latest album "Heirlooms" (May 2022), Liv Cazzola and Braden Phelan issue a call for deeper connection with each other and with the natural world. The answer to this call is reflected both in the collaborative creation process and the meaningful ways in which "Heirlooms" is being shared. Setting these intentions rooted them and provided the insight needed to nourish the project and create something lasting.

Tragedy Ann has performed in Europe, the United States, and across Canada at such venues as the National Arts Centre, Celtic Connections, Haliburton Folk Society, Egersund Visefestival, Blue Skies Music Festival, Clonakilty International Guitar Festival, Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival, and Hillside Festival.

Sarah McInnis, a songwriter from Peterborough, Ontario, crafts deeply personal, relatable lyrics that invite listeners to connect. Her songs stem from confronting raw emotions like insecurity, grief, and vulnerability, transforming them into stories of healing and gratitude. With warm vocals and guitar, Sarah creates an intimate atmosphere, offering honest tales that remind audiences they are not alone in life's highs and lows.

In 2016, she released her debut EP Farmer, Coal Miner, produced by James McKenty. The album explores themes of family, loss, and resilience across seven tracks. Sarah has shared the stage with notable Canadian artists, including Mathias Kom (The Burning Hell), Craig Cardiff, and Terra Spencer, and collaborated on various independent projects in Peterborough and Port Williams, Nova Scotia.

In June 2023, Sarah released Threads, an album featuring 8 original songs inspired by the stories of 8 Atlantic Canadians—4 at end-of-life and 4 who have lost loved ones. The album, funded by the Canada Council for the Arts and Arts Nova Scotia, includes contributions from talented Atlantic-based artists and a short documentary film showcasing the interviewees' stories.
