Terra Spencer & Freya Milliken host the Music In Communities Holiday Warm-Up!

Terra will be joined by the Good Friends Band and Freya will be joined by her band for the opening act! This event is part of Terra Spencer’s Album Release Tour. Her album, “Old News” is out and available now on all platforms!

Terra Spencer is well-loved in these parts, for her generous spirit, beautiful voice, and brilliant songwriting. Since her 2018 solo debut, Nova Scotian funeral director-turned-songwriter and 2021 CFMA Contemporary Singer of the Year nominee Terra Spencer has won over audiences by marrying fingerstyle guitar, gospel piano, and her butterscotch voice with onstage humour and 70s wood-panelled warmth. Her self-produced second album Chasing Rabbits was recently named 2021 Music NS winner and nominated for 2021 ECMA Folk Recording of the Year. Terra recently released her third album, Old News, created with Ben Caplan and celebrated with a cross-Canada and UK tour. In a room of 5 or 500, every show is a knee-to-knee conversation with a natural storyteller. "The real deal." - Ron Sexsmith https://terraspencer.ca/home

Freya Milliken is fast gaining a devoted following in the Valley. Freya is an emerging singer-songwriter from Dorchester, NB, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at Acadia University. Her music is soulful, heartfelt, and appealing to a variety of tastes, attributed to folk, pop, rock, and jazz influences. https://freyamilliken.com
