Kentville Recreation Centre , 354 Main Street, Kentville

Rock Camp Week #1: July 21-25 Music In Communities is offering another set of rock camps for youth ages 10-17 this year! With workshops in songwriting, musicianship, and collaboration, youth will make music with like minded peers and have a chance to try a new instrument or learn more techniques on a familiar one. We will have instruments on hand such as the electric bass, electric guitar, drum kit, keyboard, ukulele and acoustic guitar, but you are welcome to bring your own. No previous experience required!

Learn your favourite songs or write them yourself. Our facilitators will be there to help you every step of the way and realize your creative potential!

There will be an opportunity to perform at the Canning Kitchen Party Youth Showcases on July 26th and August 16th. Priority will be given to those registered for the past week’s camp.
