 —  —

The Church Brewing Co., 329 Main Street, Wolfville, NS

Join us at Church Brewing Co. for a night of great music and Neil Young tribute songs with The Olympic Symphonium and special guests including Terra Spencer, Freya Milliken, Jeff Hennessy, Kim Barlow and more! ** We are sorry to announce that Kim Beggs will not be able to perform.

Since late 2006, The Olympic Symphonium has crafted a full, lush sound that is entirely their own. A sound that features emotional musical flourishes, soaring harmonies that float in and out, and dramatic lyrical content. It is the sound of a strange and beautiful tension.

Over the course of their five studio albums, they have seen support from radio stations like BBC, CBC, P6 (Denmark), and Stingray, press outlets such as The Line of Best Fit, Americana UK, Toronto Star, and Exclaim! and collaborated with artists like Catherine MacLellan, Rose Cousins, Amelia Curran, Rich Aucoin, and many more. They have performed at world-renowned events (the Olympic Winter Games and Pop Montreal to name a few), toured throughout UK, Europe and North America, had music placed on MTV and OLN networks, and been nominated for and won East Coast Music and Music New Brunswick awards. Over the past 4 years, they have been collaborating with New Brunswick Indigenous producer/MC Wolf Castle as his live band, fusing elements of hip-hop, jazz, and folk music into something truly original.

Freya Milliken is an award-winning alt-folk artist based in Halifax, NS, known for her rich voice and introspective songwriting. Her latest single “Where I Stand”, produced by Mark Adam, balances vulnerability with momentum, moving into a sound that feels more immediate and unguarded.

Raised on the mud banks of the Avon River, award-winning Nova Scotian funeral director-turned-songwriter Terra Spencer charms audiences with her deft guitar, gospel piano, butterscotch voice, crackling wit, and wood-paneled warmth. Every show is a knee-to-knee conversation with a natural storyteller. “Friggin' wicked. ” - Matt Andersen

Jeff Hennessy is a front-man in the Sundries; songwriter, composer, keyboardist, and musicologist from Nova Scotia, Canada. He has received two East Coast Music Award nominations, and was the regional winner and national finalist in the Canadian National Songwriting Competition where he performed at the Toronto Skydome. As a composer, his music has toured all over North America with Two Planks and a Passion Theatre, and he has been commissioned to write for numerous orchestras, choirs, and soloists. As a keyboardist he performs on piano, Hammond organ, and Rhodes piano, specializing in blues, rock, country, and improvisational contemporary music.
